Therapist / Clinical Social Worker

Trailhead Mental Health is a small, supportive private practice in Salt Lake City offering thoughtful, trauma-informed therapy to adults. We are currently seeking a pre-licensed clinician (MSW, CSW) who is working toward their LCSW and is looking for high-quality supervision, steady clinical experience, and a place to grow into their identity as a therapist.

This role is especially well-suited for an early-career clinician who feels motivated, reflective, and curious, even if you sometimes feel unsure or still “figuring it out.” You do not need to have everything mastered—we value presence, care, and a willingness to learn.

About the Role

You will provide individual therapy to adults through a combination of in-person and telehealth sessions, depending on client needs and clinician preference. The practice serves clients navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, identity development, and life transitions, with a particular focus on religious trauma and faith transitions.

We are especially interested in clinicians who want to learn more about Internal Family Systems (IFS) and begin incorporating parts-based, compassionate approaches into their work. Prior experience with IFS is not required—just genuine interest and openness.
